Pakistani pacer Fatima Sana has been named the International Cricket Council (ICC) Emerging Women's Cricketer of the Year grant for 2021.
The honor denotes the principal ICC award won by a Pakistani lady cricketer, making it an immense achievement for the youthful star.
The ICC in an assertion said that the 20-year-old "intrigued the whole gang with her inside and out endeavors in 2021".
Her figures for the year comprise of 24 wickets at a normal of 23.95 and 165 runs at 16.50 in 16 global matches.
"She turned into an indispensable piece of Pakistan's ODI and T20I side attributable to her wicket-accepting capacity as a bowler, and capacity to add convenient runs down the request simultaneously," the assertion read.
